STEM Career Spotlight: Mobile Application Development
Ankita Shrotriya, Application Developer II
I’ve been with Kforce for three years, and I’ve worked in the development field for six years.
I help Kforce find easier ways of doing things through software. We come up with ideas for applications and take them through research, to development, to implementation. I get to interact with many different teams and people. Every day is different!
I love that it challenges me. There’s always something new to work on, and it’s exciting to see our projects go from an idea to reality.
I’ve always been curious about how things work and about the processes behind everything. I started coding when I was in 12th grade, and I’ve been using it ever since! I knew working in software development would give me the chance to explore that passion.
Be ready for a career that is always changing. Be curious, be adaptable, and use your critical thinking skills to grow your understanding of the world around you.
