A privately held leader in the specialty auto and marine insurance industry was getting ready to launch a multimillion-dollar transformation initiative designed to improve the digital self-service experience, drive membership sales and increase policy volume.
With operations in the US and Europe, as well as several cross-functional implementations already underway, our client recognized the need for a centralized Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to ensure their projects were being delivered on time and within budget.

Kforce quickly deployed a small team of experienced PMs to set up a PMO and, in parallel, lead the planning phase for the new transformation initiative.
During the planning phase, critical resource gaps were identified by the client’s technology team. Kforce bridged these gaps by providing four Agile Scrum teams, along with several highly specialized consultants, to focus on architecture, digital experience, data, platform integration and quality assurance.
Leveraging proven methods and experienced project managers, Kforce set up a working PMO within a matter of weeks.
Concurrently, Kforce was able to complete the planning phase of the transformation initiative, which included a project plan, resource plan, comprehensive budget and the deployment of critical engineering teams.
Our client has requested we continue to help evolve the PMO, lead the execution phase of the transformational initiative and provide additional PM and engineering support across the portfolio.
