Kforce hosts annual Season of Impact, creating meaningful influence within the community
This two-month initiative highlights the firm's dedication to stewardship.
TAMPA, FL (November 2023) — Kforce’s commitment to stewardship continues with the firm’s second annual Season of Impact where employees are encouraged to make a difference in their communities in the fall and winter months.
This two-month initiative highlights the firm’s dedication to stewardship and community. While Kforce employees are encouraged to donate to the community year-round through corporate programs, our Season of Impact provides a focused effort to maximize their contributions during a meaningful time.
Season of Impact is an expansion of the firm’s annual Day of Giving, which began in honor of September 11 and National Day of Service. Kforcers have been volunteering a day’s worth of work to the causes they care most about nationwide for years.
“Our core values of compassion, unity and fun are what leads the way when we’re looking to pour into our communities,” said Crystal Early, Kforce Senior Director of Recognition and Stewardship Chair. “We’re so grateful to have employees in our Kforce family who are willing to volunteer their time over this dedicated period and provide a meaningful impact to those in need.”
The firm will offer several opportunities where Kforcers can choose causes they are passionate about or that carry personal meaning to them. Kforcers in Tampa kickstarted the season on Nov. 9 by sorting and stocking items at the Feeding Tampa Bay warehouse. Employees helped provide essential food to those who need it most, including thousands of children, families and seniors.
We enjoy bringing a unified approach to philanthropy, especially in the Tampa community as roughly a significant portion of our associates call the Bay Area home. Other upcoming opportunities include the following:
- Feeding America Virtual Food Drive: Kforcers are encouraged to participate in a virtual food drive through Feeding America. Just $1 provides 10 meals.
- Metropolitan Ministries: Tampa Bay area employees will assist with sorting food, shopping and more.
- Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Toy Drive: GAL supports abandoned and neglected children. All employees are encouraged to purchase a wish list item to ensure all children will have a gift this holiday season.
Ongoing community efforts within and beyond our Season of Impact are just one reason why Kforce has twice been named a One Tampa Bay honoree. In addition to supporting our Tampa charities, we encourage our teams across the nation to participate in causes and organizations they are passionate about in their communities.
